Consent-first facial recognition

Facial recognition on AtomVision is an application module on the AI Edge Analytic Box, not a default for every camera.

What you get

Enterprise-oriented deployments support 1:N watchlist matching against a gallery you enroll, access-control webhooks, and cross-camera re-identification within your estate. Face templates stay in your tenant. Customer video is not used to train global models.

Before you enable FR

  • Document lawful basis (consent and/or legitimate interest with signage, per jurisdiction).
  • Confirm regional restrictions — some places limit biometric ID in public spaces.
  • Prefer Professional or Enterprise sizing for production FR workloads.
  • Keep retention short by default; FR can be disabled per site while other analytics continue.
